Angelina Jolie ‘Plots Show of Unity With Brad Pitt’
Angelina Jolie is keen to quash speculation her relationship with Brad Pitt is on the rocks — she’s planning a big show of unity for the cameras, according to a new report.
Despite previous reports Pitt and Jolie came to blows over whether the actress should appear on the red carpet with him at Cannes, Angelina will apparently be on Brad’s arm as he promotes his new movie, Inglourious Basterds, which premieres at the festival Wednesday.
“Angelina is already planning a big show of unity for the cameras at Cannes,” a source tells Britain’s Grazia magazine. “This is what she does whenever there is a crisis. And, of course, it’s sending a big message to Brad’s ex-wife Jennifer Aniston that he’s not going anywhere.”
Insiders also believe that Pitt is pining for his old his old life with former Friends star Aniston, who he divorced in 2005.
“Life with Angelina must have become draining for Brad,” said the source. “Brad looks unhappy, she’s stressed out all the time, and it’s not good for anyone. His life with Jen was a lot more fun and simple than his life now.”

Okay. Its good she will be coming for the cameras. You can’t live a lifetime putting on a fake smile. So time will tell. And if this means Pitt and Jen can be back on talking terms, well that’s a big concession for Jolie. At least she will learn the beginning of give and take.
The Pitt Aniston photos always had an aura and quality that Pitt could never replicate with Jolie — despite her whitened toothy smile and seductive looks at the cameras when he is around.

Totally agree with “wow’s” comment. I’m not a big fan of Brad, Angelina or Jennifer, but i really think Brad looked happier with Jennifer. There’s a video made by a fan in youtube called Brad & Jen…just watch it and see at Brad’s lovely face when he looks into Jennifer’s eyes.

I can’t help noticing that good and friendly aura around Brad when he is with Jen, and how different they look with Angelina, sorry but the woman is a serpent (snake) in a bad way. All she can do is seductive looks, like she is hiding somehting bad she has done – do you think good things can live on this?? So she made some kids and asked media to film her doing charity work – but who can’t do it? Does it automatically prove she is a good person? Don’t need to save the world, Angelina, just do not ruin one family. She did break another couple too by the way when she got together with Thornton. Boy if they’re trying for a show of unity, they couldn’t have done it a worse way, because it looks like that’s just what it is. As if they can’t spend one full day together anymore. The Hague looks like a stab at much needed pr, what with their parenting and iffy adoptions, increasingly being questioned and criticized, and it also looks like she’s planning least time possible in Cannes. It would have been better to just say she had to work on the movie than do something so obvious.

This is so high school mean-girl stuff. Is there any entertainment site that isn’t run by a pack of drama queens? They are going to Cannes like they have been doing for years.
And these comments? More high schoolers. Most adults don’t have the time or the inclination to confabulate about strangers even if they are famous celebrities.
Nobody is jealous here. People are just pointing out the obvious. This couple are clearly not happy together – the problems have been reported for over 6 months now and have not gone away. It seems that Angelina is doing this only because she feels she has to and definitely not because she wants to. I really feel like she has a chemical inbalance and could use some help from a mood stabilizer. The poor girl is manic and always taking on too many projects. She can’t just “be a mom” – it is not interesting enough for her. Brad is not equipped to deal with her issues and perhaps he has tried hard, but clearly is at a loss as to how to help her. The sex probably has gotten mundane for them as a couple and that means it’s time to move on. That’s a classic Hollywood mentality. I truly expect to hear about a total breakup within a few months. Remember how Brad and Jen kissed and loved it up even the day before they announced their split? They are all actors, concerned with their public image.
Brad probably does regret leaving Jennifer now that his life is so chaotic and uncomfortable. I doubt she will take him back as a boyfriend or husband, but it wouldn’t surprise me if they have already started to sleep together again. I also wouldn’t be surprised if Angelina went to women for awhile (ala “Lindsay Lohan”). I feel badly for her – I think she has a warm, generous heart but her internal chemistry is very inbalanced which makes her fight against her own self. Brad will probably get involved with someone else very quickly (he has to be in a relationship at all times – doesn’t have the confidence to be on his own long) and Jennifer – well, one bad relationship after another. We all wish she could find someone to settle down with permanently that cherishes her. She would do well to date someone that is NOT an actor. I think it will eventually but there is still something physical that needs to be worked out with Brad.
That only leaves the children. They will probably spend half their time with Brad and half with Angie. I suspect they will do just fine – money at least allows for their physical needs being well-tended. Emotionally they have each other, right? It’s just too bad that Brad & Angelina had to collect so many in such a short time. That was unfair to the kids and to them as a couple.
You people are idiots. All of this is speculation. People have been saying they were in trouble from the get-go and WOW, 3 years later they have 6 kids and are one of the most affectionate couples on the red carpet. So it wouldn’t even APPEAR as if either of them is going anywhere. On that note, I’m so sick of people and their ‘poor Jen’ facade. So pathetic, the woman has clearly moved on…and expressed that she is happy for them so why can’t YOU be?

Respect their life and relationship, respect at least their children, and stop fantasizing about some comeback to Aniston; that’s not going to happen.
Also, don’t compare someone’s life a few years ago with today- everybody in their right mind knows that children make you more concerned with everything…of course Brad’s look is not the same, maybe one of his six children was sick at home…plus, 5 years put some wrinkles on your face.

The grass apparently isn’t any greener on the other side. In many, many photos over the last at least 8 months plus, Brad & Angelina do not look happy. Their body language states there are strains. Why does everyone have to pull Jennifer Aniston into this? The woman is doing her own thing, making movies pretty much one after the other, and minding her own business. If Brad and she are in touch, good for them. If he realizes he made a huge mistake leaving her for Angelina, good for him. If Angelina realizes Brad isn’t the man she thought he’d be, good for her. The only ones that will really suffer are those little innocent children who didn’t ask to be brought into this mess. It’s those children who are going to find out later on in life how their parents really got together, and find they were lied to about it, and if any of them have any morals are going to be disappointed. For those of you out there who say a person can’t be stolen if they don’t want to be are wrong. Certain circumstances, at the right (actually wrong) moment when 2 people have hit a rough spot, disagreement etc, and someone beautiful, gorgeous comes along and pretends to be a “friend” in the beginning, and then BOOM, all of a sudden you’re into something that you didn’t want or wasn’t looking for, and you still love the person you were with before. I don’t care who it is, when someone purposely goes after another persons significant other knowing they are having issues is wrong. It’s called manipulation. Personally, I hope Angelina kicks Brad to the curb (and I don’t like her), and I hope Jennifer turns her back, and Brad is on the outside looking in.
