Rachel Weisz is letting her career take a back seat so she can spend more time with her family.

The British star — who has a son, Henry, with her director fiancé Darren Aronofsky – says she has scaled back her work commitments and is concentrating on being a mother and a wife.

“I used to work back to back,” says Rachel. “Now I do two projects a year and take a big break between them. I have to consider where I’m traveling to if Darren’s going to be working at the same time.

“You know, I filmed Agora in Malta for four months, and Darren edited there. Before that we were both at home in New York, where he was shooting.

“Then I started Agora and two weeks later he came out with his editor. So we’ve managed to keep the family together. And it works.”
