Ewan McGregor is planning to put his acting career on hold so he can go traveling with his family.
The Scottish star — who appears alongside Tom Hanks in new movie Angels and Demons – wants to take his wife Eve and daughters Clara, Esther and Jamiyan on the road to share the kind of adventures he’s enjoyed on his epic bike rides.
“I’ve learned that I really love to explore and travel,” he says. “I love my bike trips, and I’d like to share that, in a way, with my family. I’d like to be able to do some of that with my children and my wife soon.”
McGregor recently revealed that he took up smoking because he thought it was glamorous.
“It’s interesting that people used to think that smoking was glamorous,” he told Men’s Health magazine for its June issue. “I used to think it was pretty cool.”
