Katy Perry Judges People by Their Clothes

Katy PerryKaty Perry has revealed what she looks for in a friend – a “cool” sense of style.

The I Kissed a Girl singer says she judges people by their clothes.

“Whenever I meet new people I don’t need to talk to them to know I’d want to hang out with them, just because they have a cool sense of style,” she explains.

“It’s fantastic to show off your personality through what you’re wearing. You can give off an energy or a vibe just by wearing a silly, cut, light-hearted, smack-a-smile-on-your-face style. Why not? I’m young. I like to have fun. I don’t come off as boring.”

Perry, 24, also revealed that she got teased for wearing a leopard-print coat to school aged 11.

“Everyone made fun of me,” Perry quipped. “But I was proved right at the end of the day, because when all the mothers came to pick up the kids, they loved it. I sold it to the secondhand shop two years later to get more clothes.”

    I love Katy Perry’s style but I think the kids may have made fun of her when she wore the leopard print at age 11 because it is a bit inappropriate for that age. Makes a kid look cheap… lettin’ em’ wear a leopard print to school… it is important to know what to wear as well as what NOT to wear to school. You aren’t going there to look flashy… you are there to learn.
