Katy Perry: ‘Flashing Your Panties is Tasteless’

Katy Perry is adamant she’ll never be snapped flashing her panties — because it’s “tasteless”.
The Waking Up In Vegas singer is so desperate to prevent the paparazzi from catching a glimpse of her undergarments, she wears extra big knickers and employs a special panty guard to stand in front of her as she climbs out of cars.
“Flashing your panties is just so tasteless,” says Katy. “But you also have to imagine those camera flashes are going off so fast and it’s sometimes a split second for those girls getting into a car.
“The way I get round that problem is I have someone standing in front of me at all times because I’m often wearing a dress.”
Katy, 24, recently revealed that she judges people by what they’re wearing.
“Whenever I meet new people I don’t need to talk to them to know I’d want to hang out with them, just because they have a cool sense of style,” she said.
“It’s fantastic to show off your personality through what you’re wearing. You can give off an energy or a vibe just by wearing a silly, cut, light-hearted, smack-a-smile-on-your-face style. Why not? I’m young. I like to have fun. I don’t come off as boring.”
