Scarlett Johansson is to inflict another album on to the world.

The actress — who in May last year debuted as a vocalist on her first album, Anywhere I Lay My Head, with cover versions of Tom Waits songs — is teaming up with Pete Yorn to release an album of duets, Break Up, in September.

The album is produced by Sunny Levine and features eight original songs plus a cover of former Big Star man Chris Bell’s 1978 song I Am The Cosmos.

The record, which hits stores on September 8, is lyrically based on an affair, according to music mag the NME.

The opening song of the album, Relator, is available to listen to at the official website of the project, Thebreakupalbum.com.
