Beyonce Used to Read About Celebrities

Beyonce Knowles can understand why people are so interested in her private life — because she used to read about celebrities when she was younger.
The notoriously private star admits she was addicted to reading celebrity magazines, but says she is keen to keep her life with husband Jay-Z out of the spotlight.
“When I was younger I loved reading about the lives of celebrities, so I understand the interest the media has in my life,” the singer tells Britain’s More! magazine in a new interview. “But my husband and I prefer not to talk about our lives because that’s our way of protecting our relationship.”
On her friendships, the Crazy in Love hitmaker adds, “There are really good people, people I admire. I have good friends with whom I share interests. Bono is one, he has a huge heart and he’s affectionate, open and socially responsible. In fact, we want to do something together in the future.
“And as everybody knows, fame can get quite complicated at times, but I’ve been fortunate in meeting people who have been very honest with me.”
