Susan Boyle to be Pulled From Britain’s Got Talent?

Singing sensation Susan Boyle could be pulled from the Britain’s Got Talent finals — after producers became concerned for her wellbeing.
The 47-year-old Scot is said to be on the brink of a breakdown as she struggles to cope with the pressures of her new-found fame.
Judge Piers Morgan recently revealed that Boyle had been in floods of tears.
“If it is felt that she is too vulnerable to perform, she will be withdrawn from the show,” a TV insider told UK newspaper the Daily Mirror.
“Simon Cowell and Co aren’t happy but there is a much bigger picture here. If anything was to happen to Susan live on air it would be ITV that got the blame. Her well-being is the absolute priority.”
TV watchdogs confirmed last night that ITV has “a duty of care” to anyone appearing on the channel.
Section 2.3 of Ofcom’s broadcasting code states that material broadcast including “humiliation, distress and violation of human dignity” must be justified in context.
Any complaints from Susan or the public after the final could lead to ITV being prosecuted.
