Michael Jackson to Postpone More London Gigs?

Michael Jackson could be forced to scrap more of his comeback gigs in London so he can battle skin cancer, it has been claimed.Michael Jackson

The 50-year-old superstar may have to undergo grueling radiotherapy to beat the disease, which he was diagnosed with last month.

“Michael has a devil of a decision,” an insider tells British newspaper The Sun. “The temptation is to go for the treatment which will allow him to perform.

“The last thing he wants is to let down his fans. But it may well turn out that radiation therapy is still needed if the cancer is deep in his cells.

“That can have really nasty side effects and leave him unable to sing at all.

“Everyone is praying that more dates will still go ahead.”

The singer was meant to kick off the 50-date-long set of live shows on July 8. They were due to wind up on February 24, 2010.

Jackson will now take to the stage at the British capital’s O2 Arena on July 13. Full refunds will be given if ticketholders can’t make the new dates.

Last night a spokesman for Jacko insisted, “He is in great health.”
