Hugh Jackman feels pressure to please his fans.
The Aussie actor — who is teaming up with James Bond star Daniel Craig for a new Broadway play — admits he was worried about taking on the role of Wolverine for his new movie X-Men Origins: Wolverine, as X Men followers are some of the hardest in the world to impress.
“For 50 years Wolverine has been around and so every person that grows up with that has an image of who he is,” Jackman said. “So in a way, of all the things I have done — real characters and fictitious ones — the most challenging has been Wolverine.
“Because the fans of X Men and of Wolverine tell you exactly what they think. They don’t pull any punches.”
