British glamor model Jordan has given up the fight trying to win back estranged husband Peter Andre and will agree to a quickie divorce, it was revealed Sunday.

Jordan, real name Katie Price, has now accepted she will never save her marriage to the former Aussie singer — and the pair will be likely be divorced in six weeks.

“This has been a landmark couple of days for Katie,” an insider told British tabloid the News of The World. “It’s sad, but she’s given up the fight.

“She now accepts she’s never getting Peter back and is ready to move on with her life. It hasn’t been easy but she knows it’s necessary to enable her to eventually get on with things.

“The last five days have completely changed her frame of mind. She’s gone from refusing to consider the possibility of divorce to agreeing it’s a necessity.

“She doesn’t want it dragging on and has decided that if this is what Peter really wants then that’s what he’s going to get.

“It’s still incredibly emotional for her and she feels under constant attack but she knows this is what has to happen.”

“Peter,” added the source, “has been more emotional this week than at at any time so far. The reality has kicked in and as a result he’s hit rock bottom.

“I’ve never seen him like this before. He’s a mess. The meetings with the lawyers hit him really hard. He came out afterward and just broke down.

“It was the utter realization that his family life is never going to be the same. Everything he held so dear is now gone.”
