Shia LaBeouf: ‘Filming Transformers 2 Was Really Hard’

Shia LaBeouf Shia LaBeouf has described filming Transformers 2 as the toughest time of his life.

The Accident-prone actor continued shooting the eagerly-awaited movie even though he had smashed the bone in his hand — but now he’s regretting it.

“My hand was shattered in the crash,” Shia explains. “They even used a piece of my hip to make a new bone for my finger. I took two weeks off but the usual recovery time is about six months. It was hard. Really hard.

“Just doing everyday stuff was tough enough but jumping around and doing physical stunts and work with a broken hand was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done.”

The 22-year-old says he has been maimed for life because of the smash. “My hand won’t go back to normal completely,” he said. “It’s always going to be a bit messed up now.”

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen — which also stars Megan Fox — hits movie theaters on June 24.
