Jennifer Aniston ‘Wants Her Friends Character to be Killed Off’

The actress — who played Rachel Green in the smash hit sitcom — is apparently keen for a Friends movie to be made, but she doesn’t want to appear in it.

“The idea actually came from Jen herself,” an insider reports. “She really doesn’t see herself going back to the old Rachel role so suggested that maybe she should be killed off. That way the other guys would have a reason to get back together — Rachel’s funeral!”

Movie bosses are said to have shelved the idea of a Friends movie once more in the hope that Aniston will have a change of heart in the future. “Without Jennifer Aniston, there is no Friends movie,” adds the source.

Aniston, 40, has obviously had a change of heart — she has previously said she’d quite like to play Rachel on the big screen.

“They should hurry up,” Jen said.
