Simon Cowell has pledged his unconditional support to Britain’s Got Talent superstar Susan Boyle.

The music mogul personally called the singing sensation — who is currently recovering from exhaustion in The Priory — to tell her, “Whatever you decide, I will support you unconditionally.”

Cowell even offered to rip up Susan’s tour contract to ease the pressure on her.

Runner-up Susan, who has learning difficulties, collapsed after “acting strangely” following a week of intense pressure leading up to Saturday’s BGT final.

She is said to be “doing well” at the clinic and is expected to remain there for “up to two weeks”.

Susan has even been talking about recording an album, and Cowell has assured her that everything is in place “when she’s ready”.

“Simon wanted to speak to Susan to let her know he is thinking about her, and also that she does not need to do anything at the moment except get better,” an insider said.

“They had a long conversation and, hopefully, it made Susan feel a bit better. She is on the mend and doing well.

“One of her big fears was going back to Scotland without winning because in her mind that would have been a failure.

“Simon told her she had done brilliantly and that she was a great singer who was going to record a great album when she was ready. It is just what Susan wanted to hear.”
