Katy Perry: ‘My Parents Are Quite Rock ‘n’ Roll’

Katy Perry has spoken out to set the record straight on claims she has God-fearing parents.
The I Kissed a Girl singer insists her mother and father are a lot more “rock ‘n’ roll” than people give them credit for.
“They had their wild-child heyday, and they definitely needed to find God and I think they’re a lot more rock ‘n’ roll than people give them credit for,” Perry said.
“My dad has four tattoos, but they all say, ‘Jesus,’ just in case you forget the first one does. One says ‘Jesus’ in Hebrew, one says ‘Jesus’ in calligraphy, one is like a stamp… They’re very cool.
“Of course they [parents] don’t agree with some things that come out of my mouth, but that’s been the case since I learned how to talk.”
