LeAnn Rimes has responded to claims she is stalking her Lifetime movie costar Eddie Cibrian.

Rimes and Cibrian cut ties two months ago after details of their steamy affair were exposed by a magazine.

But his wife, Brandi Glanville, claims that the star can’t let go of her obsession with Cibrian.

“LeAnn is a stalker,” Glanville said. “She refuses to leave us alone — it is shameful and scary. People are going to say it takes two to tango and I get that, but at some point LeAnn needs to stop asking him to dance.”

But LeAnn has fired back.

“These comments are incredibly defamatory,” said a spokesperson for the singer/actress. “While there are always two sides to every story, LeAnn continues to remain above the fray and chooses not to play this out in the press.”

Rimes, 26, has been working in Los Angeles, while her husband of seven years, Dean Sheremet, 28, has been in Nashville writing and producing.
