Susan Boyle has checked herself out of The Priory.

The Britain’s Got Talent star — who was admitted to the clinic earlier this week after feeling “physically and mentally drained” — is now in hiding at a secret location.

“Susan was keen to leave and the doctors had no objections,” a source told the UK’s Daily Mirror newspaper. “It was entirely her decision and she is feeling a lot more at ease now she has been out of the spotlight.

“She was keen to meet family, friends and especially her cat, Pebbles. Susan is desperate to go home to Scotland. That is where she is believed to have gone.”

Yesterday, BGT boss Simon Cowell called Susan to see how she was. He even offered her an all-expenses-paid break at his Barbados home, the Mirror reports.

“Susan was talking to him about her plans for the album. She was very positive about the future. She told Simon she was feeling a lot better,” the source added.

“He said she was under no pressure and her album would be recorded when she felt ready.”
