Madonna to Adopt African Baby?

Madonna is planning to adopt an African baby with her toyboy Jesus Luz, it was claimed Sunday.
The Material Girl singer — whose bid to adopt Malawian orphan Mercy James was rejected earlier this year — has switched her efforts from Malawi to Nigeria, making inquiries at an orphanage in the city of Kaduna about a female tot, reports British tabloid the News of The World.
“She was distraught when her adoption failed in Malawi,” an insider told the paper.
“At the time she blamed the fact that her relationship with Jesus made her look like she was going through some midlife crisis.
“But now she’s looking at adoption centres in Nigeria and has got another female friend to make an initial approach to test the waters.
“She’s determined not to make the same mistakes and feels that the only way to do this is to get Jesus involved from the off.
“Madonna is considering visiting, perhaps with Jesus, as soon as she can.”
Adoptive parents who have not been resident in Nigeria for at least three months find the adoption process extremely difficult.
“Madonna has some of the best legal minds working for her and she’ll be pushing them to find a loophole,” the source added. “Madonna always thought she would eventually win her battle to adopt Mercy, but that hasn’t been the case. She thinks this will bring her and Jesus together as one big happy family.
“Failure is not an option. Madonna wouldn’t be able to take rejection for the second time.”
Madonna, 50, is already mom to daughter Lourdes, 12, and sons Rocco, eight, and David, three, who she adopted in Malawi.
