Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are finally set to quash speculation they’re set to split — by getting married, according to a new report.Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt

Pitt is apparently keen to make his relationship with Jolie official, and Angelina agreed, as she’s keen to show the world her relationship with Brad is solid.

“Usually it’s Brad who wants to talk marriage,” an insider told the Daily Mirror newspaper. “But this time it was Angie. An aide sent them all the Press clippings about their ‘relationship problems’ and Angelina said it was probably best if they married to put an end to the stories. Brad’s face lit up — he was thrilled.”

Split rumors were rife earlier this week when American tabloied the National Enquirer reported that Brad and Ange — who raise six children together — decided to call it quits after growing tired of trying to gloss over their problems following five “tumultuous” years together.

“They will make it official,” an insider said. “It looks like Brad will be shooting two movies in California and in the Amazon, while Angelina is retreating to their French chateau with the rest of the family.

“It’s an official split.”

But a statement from Jolie’s manager said the claims were “not true”.

    They will never marry. This is about the 4th time this story has come out. Someone is just trying to keep this fasad going. It’s over and we all know. He will never leave her though, he loves his kids too much not to see them. He his trapped and that has to be a horrible feeling.

    Its a shame how the media can stoop so low for the sake of making money. They dont care if they hurt people along the way. Go on Angie and marry your man. To those who talk about Jennipher I say to them, “No one leaves a thing”. Brad is happy with who he is with and that is Angie. Every relationship has its problems, show one that hasnt….

    I know this sounds kinda silly, but when Brad first married Aniston I said to myself the woman he really should be with is Angelina Jolie. So therefore when they got together I was thrilled. I really do hope they marry, I mean after all they have 6 children now, lets get on with it!!!!!!!!!!

    But if they do marry, I hope they invite all the important people around the world!!!! It will be as good as Princess Di and Prince Charles but on the American side.

    If he wanted to get married they would already have done it. But they don’t because all she wants to do is to show how extravagant (as if) she is – like – look – everyone thinkg Pitt is the hottest guy and as if she will be the one to turn him down (wow!classy!) – and he seems to start finally understanding what a looney he hooked up with and therefore not so thrilled anymore to rush to the altar. Such a show this whole thing with these 2 phonet-faced people really enjoying it and believeing like they are something special. Ahh, whatever, used to think Pitt was a better guy than what he has actually shown him to be.

    They both were divorced, she twice, so can understand why neither thinks marriage is the cure all for all relationship problems. She said they were committed to their children, not necessarily each other, which at the time I thought wasn’t very romantic, but it was an honest statement. Hollywood relationships have an even higher divorce rate than the rest of the country (which is about 50%) so if they are really trying to dispel break up rumors, don’t think marriage is the way they’d go. Probably adopt another child from Africa.

    I think Brad should get back with Jennifer Aniston, have a baby, pay child support to Angie and have shared custody of all the kids. If not, I still think he should have a baby with Jennifer Aniston because she wants one and it might as well be with someone she really loves. She doesn’t have to be with him to have his baby–obviously. It would be better than her making a mistake with someone like that ugly guy John she was dating. UUUGGGGLYY!!!!

    Brad and Angelina should sit down and talk about their problems in their relationship, and go to counseling for help. They look like a great couple. It’s easy to walk away when the relationship is not working, however, being in a relationship takes lots of work. Not just a week, month, year, but forever. Maybe if they made an effort to attend church and pray regarding their situation. Things might get better for them.

    Brangie get married already please!! Show us that you’ve both put the past behind you and are willing to give marriage a try. That is, if you’re secure enough in your bond with each other, otherwise stay as you are. On another note, this could very well be another Brangie stunt. They are still in negotiations for a settlement with the UK magazine they have sued. This may give them more leverage for a larger settlement if they pretend they are going to get married.
