Penelope Cruz has revealed the secret behind her super-slender figure — dancing.

The 35-year-old Oscar-winner — who is currently dating actor Javier Bardem –  has been practicing her fancy footwork for her role as burlesque mistress Carla in the musical movie Nine — and it has brought back her beautiful bod.

“I was a student of dance for many years and now I was dancing again for Nine, the musical that I did recently. So I was being active again. So my dancer’s figure came back.”

Cruz recently revealed that she feels “scared” every time she makes a movie.

“Every time I am making a movie I feel insecure, and I feel scared, and that’s part of the way I work — if one day I would be on the set feeling too secure, that would really scare me,” she said.
