Robert Pattinson is making Kristen Stewart choose between him and her longtime boyfriend, actor Michael Angarano, it has been claimed.

Robert is apparently keen to have a serious relationship with his Twilight costar — but only if Kristen is prepared to forget her boyfriend.

“Robert is completely frustrated. If Kristen isn’t interested in a serious relationship, she needs to tell him so he can move on,” an insider tells OK! magazine.

The source adds that Pattinson, 23, has given 19-year-old Kristen a couple months to sort things out while he’s in NYC filming his new indie flick Remember Me, which is about star-crossed lovers.

“He’s asked her to choose between him and Michael this summer,” says the source. “Robert’s not willing to be strung along.”

While both Robert and Kristen have both denied claims they’re an item, Twilight director Catherine Hardwicke recently hinted that the duo could be dating.

“People love to talk, so let them have fun talking,” Hardwicke told E! News. “I think they have an interesting, wonderful connection, so you know…What does dating mean? I don’t know. I couldn’t say.”
