Julia Roberts Does David Letterman

Julia Roberts appeared on The Late Show Tuesday night — and got host David Letterman to open up about his March nuptials with wife Regina.
“I don’t know if I can look you in the eye anymore … Last time I saw you, you were single and then I, like, hypnotized you in my white suit or something and you went off and married Regina,” Julia said after she sat down for the interview.
When Julia asked if Regina took Dave’s name, and he said yes, Julia followed up with, “So she’s Mrs. Letterman?”
Letterman responded, “No, she’s Dave.”
Roberts asked Letterman if there was any video of the ceremony. Letterman told her it “was me, it was my son, it was Regina and the justice of the peace, and that was it.”
“I mean, it’s legal, that’s the most important thing, right?” he asked.
Julia, who’s been married for almost seven years to hubby Danny Moder, told Dave of his marriage, “You’re bound for eternity,” to which Dave responded, “That’s right, and never been more deeply in love,” which elicited cheers from the audience.
Julia commented that Regina is a “lovely and, no doubt, tolerant woman.”
Replied Letterman, “Yes, and I know she’s watching at home.”
