Britney Spears can breathe a sigh of relief — her dad approves of her new boyfriend.
The singer — currently in London for the European leg of her Circus world tour – is “officially” dating William Morris agent Jason Trawick.
And Jamie Spears has given his daughter’s fledgling romance the green light.
“They are totally and definitely dating,” an insider said. “Her dad loves him. He’s the best thing that has happened to her.
“They’re very sweet together. Britney has always had a crush on Jason. He makes her really happy, and he’s great with the boys.”
Spears, 27, had a fling with British paparazzo Adnan Ghalib following her 2006 divorce from Kevin Federline, who is the father of her two sons.
