Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson-Wentz’s Marriage Isn’t in Trouble
Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson-Wentz’s marriage isn’t on the rocks, despite recent claims to the contrary.
It had been reported that the couple — who welcomed son Bronx Mowgli in November last year — was on the verge of a split as Ashlee struggles to balance her career with motherhood.
“Ashlee is a loving mother, but she is overwhelmed,” a source told Us Weekly magazine.
“Ashlee is having major problems with Pete right now. They fight constantly. She is seriously considering leaving him. They have been arguing a lot recently. They’re in different places [in their lives].”
But a representative for the couple has spoken out to set the record straight.
“Contrary to any reports, the marriage is not in trouble,” the spokesperson said. “Ashlee and Pete love one another, love being a family and are in a stable, happy marriage.”
