Mariah Carey’s Husband Defends Her Curves

Mariah Carey‘s husband has defended the singer against her weight critics.
Nick Cannon says he’s always urging his superstar wife to embrace her voluptuous figure.
“I always tell her, ‘Girl, you’ve got all those curves and me with no brakes’,” Cannon told Us Weekly magazine.
“It’s something that everyone deals with. Everybody is different for a reason; it ain’t about trying to be super-skinny. That’s not what’s hot. It’s about what’s inside.”
It was reported earlier this week that Carey has been “stuffing” her face as she works on her new album.
“Mariah loves food,” an insider told the New York Post‘s Page Six gossip column. “Right now she’s making an album and eating everything and anything she wants. She has put on about 15 pounds, but she loves the curves.
“She’ll definitely tone up again when she releases her album, but as of now, she’s stuffing her face.”
