Kris Allen Responds to Adam Lambert’s Crush
Kris Allen insists he’s “flattered” American Idol runner-up Adam Lambert has a crush on him.
Lambert — who recently confirmed speculation he is gay — told Rolling Stone magazine that he thought Allen was cute.
“I was like, ‘Oh, s***, they put me with the cute guy,’ ” Adam told the mag of rooming in the Idol mansion with Kris.
“Distracting! He’s the one guy that I found attractive in the whole group on the show: nice, nonchalant, pretty and totally my type — except that he has a wife. I mean, he’s open-minded and liberal, but he’s definitely 100 percent straight.”
Responding to Lambert’s comments, Idol winner Kris says, “I’m flattered. And think it’s hilarious.”

I really wish the media would stop using Adam’s quote “Kris was cute” and turning into “he had a crush on Kris”. He was simply stating that he was his type not that he wanted to ask him out for a date.
Come on people Lets just all grow up and let these two talented guys make there music and stay out of their private lives. They did not enter American Idol to have their lives analyzed. Who cares they are gay or christian as long as they are happy in thie own skin that is all that matters and YES I did vote for Kris Allen but Adam Lambert will do well too. But I for one voted on their singing ability and there vocals. So please people stop criticizing there lifestyles and let these guys enjoy their talent. After all How well do we really know them to pass judgement. Good luck Kris and Adam and I am looking forward to the tour and the cd’s. So forget all this lifestyle crap and just make your music.

If the media keep talking like that, it might scare Kris, so is he’s wife and definitely his mother. At least now we know what Adam’s type when it comes to a male…a “whimpy” one. Kris is open minded and glad to hear that they are pals. There is nothing wrong with that, but please do not scare Kris off for the sake of their friendship.
Kris probably wanted Adam, too. That’s why he is flattered.

You are the reason why many people would feel ‘uncomfortable’ about someone like Adam having a CRUSH on a straight guy like Kris. So just because Adam has a CRUSH on an open-minded, easy going, mellow guy Adam like “whimps”? No Adam likes guys with class and that is Kris.
