Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are on the verge of a split, as recent claims have suggested — but they’re trying to work things out for the sake of their children, according to a new report.
The pair — who raise six kids together — have been drifting apart due to their hectic schedules, which often sees them both in different countries or States.
“Without a doubt, there are problems,” an insider told OK! magazine. “Since they moved to New York so Angie could begin filming her new movie Salt, something has been off.
“They’re often not on the same page.”
“Angie’s constantly tired, and whenever anyone suggests taking time off, she brushes them away,” adds the source.
“They love each other. They are trying to work this out for the sake of the kids.”
Another bone of contention in their relationship? Brad’s friendship with ex-wife Jennifer Aniston.
Reports earlier this week suggested Brad and Angelina had come to blows — on Angelina’s birthday — over Brad being in contact with the former Friends star.
“Brad made an effort to be with Angie,” an insider told In Touch Weekly magazine. “He was really hoping they would get along and enjoy themselves.
“Things were going fine, and then Angie started accusing Brad of meeting Jen in LA.
“It turned into a massive blowup, which left Brad more disillusioned than ever.”
Pitt and Jolie recently denied speculation they were on the verge of a split. At the weekend, it was reported that the pair were planning to get married.
