Lily Allen made her guest appearance on popular Australian soap Neighbours earlier today and made sure fans captured each moment with her on Twitter.

The British singer was a highly-anticipated guest on Ramsay Street — Matt Werkmeister, who plays Zeke on the show, said he couldn’t wait to work Allen.

“I’m freaking out!” Matt, 17, said. “I haven’t been this excited for… I don’t know how long.

“I’ll be starstruck for sure, but I’ll try my hardest to stay professional.

“I’ll definitely want to get Lily’s autograph but will probably be too scared to ask her, so I’ll be asking someone else to get it for me.”

A source said at the time, “Lily is delighted — she can’t wait. She’s been bragging about it to all her mates.

“She can’t quite believe she’ll take a turn on Ramsay Street – and meet Toadfish in person. Her role is pretty straight forward and she’ll only have a few lines.

“Lily is a natural in front of the camera and a true performer – she’ll be fab. Getting to appear in Neighbours really is a dream role for her. She’s just gutted that Kylie has long departed the show and that Bouncer is in the great dog kennel in the sky.”
