Cheryl Cole’s marriage is quite clearly back on track — she’s going on holiday with her soccer star husband.
Ashley Cole apparently snubbed his Chelsea team-mates in favor of a romantic trip with the Girls Aloud singer.
“The pair were invited to an annual break with Ashley’s England team-mates in Las Vegas,” a source told Britain’s Daily Mirror newspaper. “The likes of John Terry, Wayne Rooney and Frank Lampard are expected to fly out but the Coles have opted for a secluded break instead.
“They are both on a high as they haven’t been away since a trip to Marbella last year. They just can’t wait to have some time alone together.”
“If Cheryl became pregnant while they were away that would be the icing on the cake for them,” the insider added.
Simon Cowell is expecting Cheryl back next week to judge the latest round of X Factor hopefuls for the next series of the UK TV talent show.
