Adam Lambert Is ‘Really Happy’ With His Rolling Stone Cover

The American Idol runner-up put an end to weeks of speculation in the mag about his sexuality by confirming he is gay.

And Lambert insists he has no regrets.

“I’m really happy with it. The cover looks great. It was great working with [photographer] Matthew Rolston,” Lambert told Us Weekly magazine. “And the title — ‘The Liberation of Adam Lambert’ — I do feel liberated. I feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders.”

“It’s not like I was holding back before,” he added. “I was being myself, but it’s nice to have everything out in the open.”

Meanwhile, Lambert, 27, has landed a record deal.

He will release an album, licensed to RCA Records, this fall.

“I’m thrilled that we’ve come to a creative and collaborative partnership and look forward to developing a really exciting album,” Lambert said in a statement Tuesday. “We are 100 percent on the same page and are all anxiously awaiting the start of the recordings. It’s going to be ridiculous! Get ready!”

    That is nice that Adam is happy about his front Cover of the RS mag. That is a HOT photo. I think that mag is going to sell like a hot cake out of the over. When I searched of the Rolling Stone Cover for the last years or so. Adam is the ONLY American Idol that made it to the front cover of the Magazine. The other idols have article inside but never on a front cover of the RS. WOW…. that is super super awesome for the sake of Adam’s fans. I am pretty sure that Rolling Stone mag will be feuaturing Adam again after his new CD is out. We just hope the fans support it very well and get Adam new CD on the top of the BillBoard Chart. So far the single No Boundaries is at 198…mmmmmmm While Kris is at #64 last time I’ve checked.
    So, calling all Adam’s fans don’t just do the talk… walk the walk to show the American people that Adam should be Crown Prince on the American Idol and they’ve got it wrong. More Power to Adam and he should stay Glamourous and Classy. Way to go Adam!!!!

    That is a smokin’ photo of Adam. He is really sexy. The butterly and the snake are so symbolic. I love that he is genuine–stay that way, Adam!

    Madworld, Adam is leading the Album category. Personally, i went with Album coz i wanted to secure all the Adam songs. I wouldn’t go for just 1 and 2 songs. But you are right, we have to ensure that the fans buy the CDs. I’ve been thinking on how to organize mass mobilization. Do you have suggestions? I am going into the Adam’s official site and make some suggestions.

    Kris may have a single that is all the way to #64, but I think the CD of Adam’s Idol hits is near the top of the charts. Why buy a single when you can buy the whole…

    Give props to Kris for not “screaming in fear” that a guy looked at him and liked him. I always thought is was the real “sissies” that were more scared of gays than of “terrorists”. Usually, when a girl is approached, she just says “no”. Rarely does she feel she needs to “kill the guy”.

    I think Adam is going to sell albums, not singles. I loved the RS cover and am so glad I finally found them in stores to purchase.
