Jennifer Aniston ‘Would Get Back With Brad Pitt’

The former Friends star has been providing a shoulder for Brad to cry on as his relationship with Angelina Jolie hits breaking point — and Aniston has started to realize she still has feelings for the actor.

“I think Jen has been a real source of comfort for Brad since he started having problems with Angelina,” an insider told British magazine Look. “They’ve rekindled their friendship, mostly through emails, texts and the odd telephone conversation.

“They even met up face-to-face in New York a few weeks ago when Jen was filming The Baster there.”

It was recently reported that Brad and Jen — who divorced in 2005 after five years of marriage — spent more than two hours together — alone — at the Gramercy Park Hotel in Manhattan. However, these claims were denied by Aniston’s rep and the hotel.

“I don’t think Jen ever really got over Brad,” the source continues. “There are so many factors that have hampered her. Firstly, she can’t seem to escape seeing Brad on the cover of countless magazines. And in every interview she does about a new movie she’s promoting, she’s asked about him and how she feels about their divorce.

“She’s had a few relationships, and she seemed serious about her last boyfriend, John Mayer, and recently enjoyed a casual hook-up with Bradley Cooper, but none of them worked out.

“Jen has also stayed in contact with Brad’s mom, Jane. It was through her that Brad discovered how upset Jen actually was after they split up. I think he’d always figured she had coped so well because she seemed so upbeat, but six weeks ago, Jane told Brad the truth.”

Brad then called Jen to apologize, according to the source.

“It was exactly what Jen needed to hear,” dishes the insider. “It’s true she cried a lot of tears over Brad and Angelina’s relationship. I think Jen always knew that while Brad acted in a hurtful way, it was more him being thoughtless rather than hurting her on purpose. But it was still nice to hear from him.”

Jennifer, 40, is said to pining for a reunion with Brad — and her friends are worried!

“It’s a dangerous way for Jen to be thinking,” the source adds. “Brad and Angelina’s rep has denied they are splitting and even if they do, Brad would still be a dad of six and, as their mother, Angelina would be a permanent fixture in his life.

“But Jen has always been upfront about her feelings, and if she still loves Brad she’ll be honest about it.

“Her close circle of friends are absolutely stunned that Jen says she’d like to get back with Brad. They knew she was still incredibly fond of him but they thought she had moved on emotionally. Their advice to Jen is to slow down and take a step back. I think they hope this will just be something that she eventually realizes is a crazy thought.

“Brad and Jen’s marriage was not working a long time before Angelina came along. But it seems Jen is looking at it all through rose-tinted glasses. She seems to really have her heart set on them getting back together.”

    I think she never got over him. Used to think it was just about being publicly humiliated that she was having difficulty getting over , but over the last few months the constant references to her “husband”, the way her eyes light up when talking about all the wonderful things he’s done since the split, her unbridled hatred for Jolie all these years later. It’s pretty obvious she’d take him back in a heartbeat. She took that douche Mayer back, so she really doesn’t have much (if any) pride. Great role model for women, NOT!

    Duh! Its so obvious she would take him back, i’d put loads of money on it. Nothing screams desperate, weak and needy of attention as Ms. Aniston does. She had her chance but her big fat head got in the way. I would never want my daughter to pine like that for any man, especially one who fell in love and started a family so quickly. Brad clearly moved on to a bigger and better woman, not to mention obscenely giving and gorgeous! I agree with Karen, Jen is a bit fugly. Sorry Jenhens.

    I find it unbelievable how shallow some people think saying that because they find Angelina beautiful they automatically assume that she is a good person (regardless all she did) and that because she is the best match for Brad even though he was happily married before she meddled in. Time will put things to how they really are, so we will all see how things are, therefore for now there is really no point to speculate.

    Jen is the greatest girl! She has been so classy about the way she well handled this mess since Angelina meddled in, you can really see now Angelina looks more and more of a low class school girl who sleeps around and is disrespected by everyone for meddling into a goor family. Jen was so classy and well composed she stepped aside and let this freak look a joke – buying 10 kids and going out of her way to try to show how good she is in order to erase the image she has. Meanwhile Brad and Angelina constantly look to different sides on all the photos and Jen goes on making movies and being happy. It doesn’t matter if Brad goes back or not (he proved to be not such a good catch) – Jen already is a winner! Yey!

    Jen has way more class the Angelina. Angelina only knows how to get a man that is taken and has not been able to catch a descent man on her own. I should really hope that Jen would not take Brad back as Brad made his bed – stay there. Jen is such a better person for being there if he needs her but in another since he’s only using her to boost his confidence. Her reasurrance to him gives him the ego to keep going. Jen made a name for herself and Angelina only made her name because she got with Brad. If you notice in all of her movies she doesn’t have a whole lot of lines. This would be because she really can’t act. Angelina is trash – look at her past. I hope Jen gets what she deserves and that’s true love and a great life with someone who treats her well unlike Brad. Brad by the way is not aging gracefully but only aging with cockiness which is not very becoming.

    Even if Brangelina split up, he has 3 biological children by her – babies. Angie is going to be a permanent, active fixture in his life for a very, very, long time. Maybe when they’re adults, but that’s a ways away.

    I think if Jen still has feelings for she needs to get of it he has moved on and she should too the marriage had problems before Angie so I don’t see why she thinks it will be any different if they got back together it would actually be 1000% worse as Angie will always be part of his life as she has his kids. so her saying she’ll take him back (if that’s actually true, I have a hard time believing that she said that) just makes her seem like an even bigger loser. What she needs to do is let go of the past ie Brad, his family, this obssession the media seems to think she has we Angie and start her life a new then maybe she will be able to find herself a man that will actually stay with her. and for the person who said Angie only made a name for herself by getting with Brad I believe she has a Oscar which she had before Brad and she was and is still doing loads of charity work I think if you look more closely it Jen career which was helped by Angie as before all her movies used to tank at the box office but now as she gets to play the victim her movies seem to be doing a whole lot better and for all those who disagree research it and you’ll find out that what I said is a fact

    are you bitches serious? just cause angelina jolie “gives” publicly and in front of millions of cameras does not mean jennifer aniston doesn’t do so privately. a lot of celebrities donate money but they have enough class to not parade their generosity around for publicity. and whomever said miss jolie was a classy broad needs to reevaluate their values because a woman whose last 3-4 relationships were the result of her stealing the boyfriends, fiances, and husbands of unknowing women does not equate to class. besides, collecting children like accessories is just beyond insane.

    btw, sorry to break it to all you die hard fans but jolie had a nose job. your “perfect” woman is just a damn fake.

    Why does everyone think like Jen is sad without Brad, this woman is fabulous, gorgeous and young looking, funny, sexy, classy and friendly – why would someone think she would not get over a cheating and not very smart guy Brad? Of course she did, that is why she is always smiling. Brad instead is stuck with the black witch and a bunch of kids, half not even kids, no wonder he looks so dreadful lately. Brad is far not the ultimate trophey in life, why many people to be judging by who Brad is with then? He is just a guy.

    Am sure Brad is the one who would like to get back with Jen – seeing how unhappy he looks with Jolie and how happy he did with Jen. However now that Jolie marked her territory with 100 kids around Brad (which only proves she knows he would not stay with her just for her – like he did with Jen before Jolie has poisoned everythig) – it would not be so attractive for Jen now to take Brad, she can do better now. Jolie poisons everything around her.
