Lady GaGa dyes her hair blonde to avoid being mistaken for Amy Winehouse.
The Paparazzi singer — whose real name is Stefani Germanotta – was horrified when an interviewer once spoke to her for five minutes thinking she was the troubled British singer.
“Amy is a badass but I want to be known for my own look,” she said.
So how does GaGa choose that look? “Rock, Paper Scissors,” she recently revealed.
“Most of my references are from the past,” she added. “I am mostly inspired by past designers and icons. I love Grace Jones and David Bowie. I really love people who have a strong iconic shape to who they are.”
