Rihanna is eying up a new man –  Orlando Magic basketball star Rashard Lewis.

The Umbrella hitmaker — who is young, free and single after splitting from boyfriend Chris Brown earlier in the year — is apparently keen to go on a date with Lewis, which is why she recently went to see Orlando Magic play Los Angeles Lakers.

“Rihanna is trying to get to know Rashard,” an insider told the New York Daily News newspaper. “She’s digging on him, and she hopes the feeling is mutual.”

The 21-year-old singer was previously linked with Lakers star Andrew Bynum, but Rihanna’s pals insist there is nothing romantic between them.

“Rihanna and Andrew are just friends, and they have been for a while,” the source said. “It’s Rashard who she wants. She thinks he’s hotter than hot.”

Last week, Rihanna was subpoenaed to appear in court to testify in the assault case against Brown.

She was served in person Tuesday in Los Angeles with the subpoena for the June 22 hearing in Superior Court.
