Jennifer Aniston Struggles to Watch Herself Onscreen

The actress, 40, admits she is very self-critical, so she struggles to sit down in front of her own movies.

“I have to be self-critical,” she told Fox News. “I think it’s good to sort of go, ‘Well yeah don’t do that next time’ or ‘not a great choice.’ You’ve always got to keep trying things but sometimes not everything’s going to work.”

The former Friends star — who often hits the headlines due to her lackluster love life — insists she isn’t “bothered” that people like talk about her.

“I’m really not bothered by it. They aren’t talking to me,” she said, adding that she takes time “everyday” to be thankful for her life and career.”

    Funny, I have a hard time watching her onscreen as well. Maybe if she chose quality instead of quantity she would have better results. It seems with her its all about the benjamins and not about great movies. I loved her in Friends. Then she met and married Brad and her ego was inflated. Still is. Thats why, as a former fan, i’m fed up with all this whiny, me me me crap. She’s selfish and it shows. As long as people give her big bucks for crappy movies, she’ll continue to make them. Other actresses must be so sick of her getting all these awards, money and accolades for junk movies while they are serious about their art and get less notoriety and money. I’m no longer supporting her. She’s very lucky with the breaks (Friends) and fans she has, you would think she would take her acting more seriously. She needs to get over herself and give back more than she has recieved.

    Some advice from the peanut gallery…Try quality over quantity. Maybe you will be taken more seriously. Oh, and while you’re at it. Stop with all the numerous junk movies and GET OVER YOURSELF!!!

    Ever saw her latest movies? Even her Management was good but because it was an indie movie & no promo & was up against big ones, it didnt do good in the box office. But they are all well worth seeing movies, movies that have messages to people like you. ABT giving back, you will be surprised at what she has done but see, she doesnt go announcing to the whole world that she was a big supporter of St. Jude cancer research for children, Omni Peace, Food for the Hungry, and still others where she goes incognito. That’s the difference guys!
