Britney Spears isn’t getting married for a third time — at least not yet.

Reports earlier today claimed that the singer’s agent turned lover, Jason Trawick, proposed to Spears while they were on vacation in the Bahamas last month.

“He didn’t exactly get down on one knee, but Brit didn’t care. She said yes, and they opened a bottle of champagne to celebrate,” a source said. “Jason held Britney for a long time and kissed her cheeks. They talked about their future for hours and didn’t go to sleep until after 3 a.m.! They just wanted to be alone together.”

But a source close to Britney has spoken out to set the record straight.

“There’s no truth to it at all. Britney is not engaged,” the insider told People magazine.

Spears’ family are said to be big fans of the singer’s new beau.

“They are totally and definitely dating,” an insider recently said. “Her dad loves him. He’s the best thing that has happened to her.

“They’re very sweet together. Britney has always had a crush on Jason. He makes her really happy, and he’s great with the boys.”
