Adam Lambert has planned his first big purchase — a house!

The American Idol runner-up — who admits he’s struggling with his new found fame — says he’s looking to invest in property.

“I think I’m going to buy a house,” Lambert told Parade magazine. “It’s a little ways off. I’ll probably wait until the end of the year. That’s exciting to me, to have a home.”

“This whole experience is liberating and validating at the same time,” he added. ” It’s really allowing me to be the artist I’ve always wanted to be.

“This experience has opened up so many doors and connected me with so many amazing, talented, reputable producers and writers. That’s liberation right there.”

And will Glambert be saying goodbye to his make-up? “I like my signature eye makeup thing. It’s kinda my look, it’s my vibe,” he said. “It’s different and glamorous. But I don’t really like one look over any others. I like changing it up. I mean, who knows? In a couple months I might get sick of wearing eyeliner. Anything can happen!”
