Susan Boyle could be heading Stateside!

The 48-year-old singer, who shot to worldwide fame on Britain’s Got Talent, may perform on the show’s American counterpart, which premieres June 23.

America’s Got Talent judge Piers Morgan spoke with reporters Tuesday and said the Scottish songstress is welcome to perform on the NBC talent competition.

“If she’s up for it and she is well enough,” said Morgan, “our feeling is she probably will [appear on AGT]. Absolutely!”

“Susan singing live to 25 million Americans? That would be great!” Morgan said, adding that, “she still gets a bit tired sometimes, but she is 48.”

Morgan promised on Tuesday that the new season of the NBC show will be just as exciting as its British counterpart.

“From the time [Britain's Got Talent] aired in Britain, thousands more people auditioned in America. She had a big effect on auditions,” said Piers.

“There will be two or three acts who could have the same impact. After one group performs, there won’t be a dry eye in the house.”

Morgan says he’s looking forward to having more eccentric crooners on AGT.

“We try not to sanitize it too much,” he explained. “This is an old-fashioned variety talent show. No one is forcing people or holding a gun to their head. And I’ve never seen evidence of people coming away from the show damaged psychologically.”
