Sandra Bullock says her “very strict” German mother kept her on the straight and narrow.
The Proposal actress admits she had an eye for the boys from an early age and it was only her mom who stopped her from being a wayward teen.
“I had a very strict German mother who knew for some reason — she was raised in Germany but she kinda knew — what was going on with me. I was not allowed out of the house alone in a car with a boyfriend until I turned 18. She knew.
“But she was also really rebellious and wild and I think she saw a little bit of that in me. If she hadn’t kept an eye on me I don’t know what would’ve happened.”
Bullock, 44, recently revealed that she doesn’t feel comfortable in the nude.
“Outside of the shower or bathtub, I am not comfortable being naked,” she said.
“I think it’s actually harder for women to get to the point where they are happy about what they look like and okay about putting it on screen. But you still end up going, ‘ I need to stand up straighter. How do my boobs look?’.”
