Lady Gaga is glad she wasn’t born in the 1970s — because she would have spent all her time taking hallucinogenic drugs, instead of focusing on her music.
“If I were reincarnated in the 1970s I’m not sure I would’ve made it as a pop star — I would probably have been on acid following the Beatles,” she said. “I love rock stars and there are very little left today but in the 1970s they were running rampant and I would’ve been too.”
GaGa — whose real name is Stefani Germanotta — recently insisted that, despite her racy image, she isn’t a party girl.
“I’m not like a go-out-and-party girl too much. I’m actually taking every minute I have to myself to write music and be in the studio right now,” she said. “I don’t have much time to relax but I don’t have much time for celebrities either, so I’m happy.”
