Tom Cruise Buys John Travolta a Harley-Davidson

ALO-0736692Tom Cruise is doing his bit to help his pal (and fellow Scientologist) John Travolta come to terms with the recent death of the actor’s sixteen year old son, Jett.

The Top Gun star  — a motorcycle enthusiast — has bought Travolta a top-of-the-line Harley-Davidson and proposed a road trip for just the two of them, from L.A. to Austin, Texas.

“John was really bowled over by Tom’s thoughtfulness and generosity, but so far the bike has remained parked in his garage,” a source told American tabloid the National Enquirer. “John says he’ll take Tom up on the offer eventually, but right now he can’t get in the spirit of it.”

Travolta, 55, recently thanked the the cast of his new thriller The Taking Of Pelham 1 2 3 for promoting the film as he continues to mourn the loss of Jett.
