Robert Pattinson knows how to party!

The actor, in New York filming his new movie Remember Me, has been hitting Manhattan’s hippest hotspots — including his favorite bar, Black and White, in the East Village.

“He was smiling and laughing and just having a good time with his friends,” said one onlooker. “He seemed really relaxed and didn’t seem to worry about the people around him.”

And despite always having to deal with dozens of frenzied fans, the Twilight star is always playful. “He’s in great spirits,” says a source. “He’s like the guy that everyone wants to hang out with.”

Earlier this month, the 23-year-old Brit was seen at a bar with friends, but was paying special attention to a petite blonde who spoke with a foreign accent. “They sat next to each and he was leaning close to her,” recalls one observer. “They were whispering to each other the entire night. It seemed clear that he was into her.”

Rob’s Twilight costar Ashley Greene recently revealed that the actor won’t be taking to the high seas for the vampire franchise’s upcoming cruise.

“I think he’s entirely too busy,” she said. “He’s working on, like, eight movies.”
