Lindsay Lohan is refusing to hide away and feel sorry for herself.

The Mean Girls star says she has been going out and having fun — just like she always has done, no matter what anybody thinks.

“If I go to a club that doesn’t mean that I’m drinking, that doesn’t mean that I’m cheating on anyone in a bathroom with someone,” she said. “All it means is that I’m going to sit with friends, listen to music because I love it and just have fun. It’s not a bad thing to do that. I can’t lock myself away.”

Lohan, 23, recently hit up the AXE Lounge in New York, and was apparently seen behaving “extremely oddly and erratically” .

“She spent most of the time on her phone,” a source told the New York Post earlier this month. “She was behaving extremely oddly and erratically.

“Lindsay came in at 4:30 a.m. and went to a VIP room, where she immediately climbed a stripper pole. A little later, she walked up to a tall, handsome guy and asked him a question. When he said he didn’t know the answer, she lost it and started yelling and cursing and flying around the room. She was not acting normal.”
