Sarah Jessica Parker’s Husband ‘Very Happy’ Over Twins’ Birth

Sarah Jessica Parker and her husband, Matthew Broderick, welcomed twin girls via surrogate earlier this week.
And the couple is delighted!
“I’m very happy. I don’t know what else to say,” Broderick said, adding that he’s just arrived home from Ohio, where the girls were born Monday. “I’ve seen them already. I just got back.”
The twins’ names are Marion Loretta Elwell Broderick and Tabitha Hodge Broderick.
Marion weighed in at 5 lbs, 11 oz; Tabitha weighed in at 6 pounds.
Broderick, 47, and Parker, 44, announced in April they were expecting twins.
“Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick are happily anticipating the birth of their twin daughters later this summer with the generous help of a surrogate,” a rep for the couple said. “The entire family is overjoyed.”
Sarah and Matthew — who have been married for 12 years — already have a a six-year-old son, James Wilkie, together.
“Sarah Jessica and Matthew are great parents,” says actress Kristin Johnson, who is a friend of the couple. “James Wilkie is the funniest, smartest kid … so any addition would be lucky, lucky kids.”
