Farrah Fawcett ‘Takes Turn For The Worse’

Posted by Adam

Farrah FawcettFarrah Fawcett‘s condition has worsened — and her loved ones gathered at her bedside Wednesday night, according to reports.

A priest also was summoned to the Los Angeles hospital where the Charlie’s Angels star  — a devout Catholic — is being treated for anal cancer.

Farrah’s publicist, Arnold Robinson, would not comment on the reports, saying only that “she is still being treated for her condition.”

Mela Murphy, Farrah’s friend and hairdresser of 18 years, and close pal and fellow actress Alana Stewart were also said to be with Fawcett.

“There was a moment last week when she was supposed to be released and was going home,” a source close to Fawcett told People magazine. “But things changed.”

Fawcett was first diagnosed with anal cancer in 2006. Her illness was chronicled in the recently aired NBC documentary Farrah’s Story.

In a 20/20 interview airing Friday, Farrah’s longtime partner, actor Ryan O’Neal, says that even though actress is “fighting for her life,” she has “agreed” to marry him.

O’Neal is attempting to arrange for their son Redmond to temporarily leave jail to visit his ailing mother, according to Entertainment Tonight.

Her passsing was so sad. I’m glad Ryan O’Neal, and the other people she loved were there. I really think Ryan O’Neal is really a loving person to try to get their son out of prison long enough so he could see and visit with his mother. RIP Farrah, and I hope the Lord will help Mr. O’Neal, Ms. Tatum O’Neal, Mr. Redmond O’Neal, and all the other people and all the fans that still love her to this day. Mr.O’Neal said it best, “Now she belongs to the ages”.

    God Bless,
