If you’ve bought tickets for Michael Jackson’s comeback gigs in London, it might be wise to get yourself a refund!
The king of pop has reportedly been rushed to hospital after suffering a heart attack.
The 50-year-old was loaded into an ambulance just after 2 p.m. Central time., and his mother was to meet him at the hospital, according to TMZ.
Paramedics were seen performing CPR on the singer, who suffered the heart attack at his home on Los Angeles.
A Jackson family member says Michael is in “really bad shape” and the brothers are headed to UCLA.
Joe Jackson, Michael’s dad, says “he is not doing well.”
An X17 photographer on the scene at the hospital said, “There were more than 10 bodyguards or members of Michael’s entourage that arrived at the hospital just after 1 pm, after following the ambulance there. They all got out of the SUVs in a panic and Michael was wheeled into the emergency room on a stretcher. There was definitely a sense of urgency and everyone looked worried.”
The star was due to begin a series of comeback concerts with an appearance at London’s O2 arena on July 13.
He has a history of health problems and has not completed a concert tour in 12 years.
