Madonna has been left devastated by Michael Jackson’s death — because she wanted to perform with him.

The King and Queen of pop had secretly been planning to pull off a unique musical performance on Jackson’s mammoth This Is It tour in London.

“A month ago Madonna told me she wanted to do a surprise performance at one of Michael Jackson’s UK shows,” said Madonna’s manager, Guy Oseary.

“But this is the moment that will never happen.”

Madonna, 50, has already paid tribute to the later star. “I can’t stop crying over the sad news,” she said. “I have always admired Michael Jackson. The world has lost one of the greats, but his music will live on forever! My heart goes out to his three children and other members of his family. God bless.”
