Penelope Cruz insists she has “no worries” about looking rough onscreen.
The actress says that unlike many of her peers she has no problem with ‘uglifying’ herself for a movie role.
“If a character needs to look good then you try to find the look for that character,” she said. “If it means to look bad then you have to put your ego away — whatever the character needs. I have no worries about that”
Cruz, 35, recently revealed that she doesn’t spend ages getting dressed.
“I think every woman likes clothes but I don’t put a lot of time into that,” she said. “I don’t like doing long fittings and putting a lot of time into that.
“When I am not doing this promotional kind of thing I am always in casual clothes like jeans and T-shirts. We have to use these beautiful dresses for the premieres and all of that.”
