Robert Pattinson has finally managed to get himself some peace and quiet!
On Monday, the actor — who’s usually swarmed by an army of frenzied Twilight fans wherever he goes — went to New York’s Webster Hall “with a pack of guys,” according to Page Six, to check out the band Jump Into the Gospel.
“He was totally normal and just hanging out, wearing a baseball cap. Nobody noticed him or made a fuss at all,” said the witness.
Pattinson — who reprises his role as vampire Edward Cullen in Twilight sequel New Moon, due out later this year — is in the Big Apple filming his new movie, Remember Me.
Remember Me — which hits theaters in 2010 — is centered on two lovers whose newfound relationship is threatened as they try to cope with their respective family tragedies. The flick also stars Emilie de Ravin, Pierce Brosnan and Chris Cooper.
Robert, 23, recently revealed that he’s looking forward to getting his haircut.
“The hair is still big — ish! It’s toned down a little bit,” he said. “It’s not that I’m not fond of it but it became too much of the style and that was never my intention in the first place. It was supposed to be nondescript and then it became this massive deal so I cut it off.”
