Michael Jackson ‘Was Hooked on Heroin’

Michael Jackson was hooked on heroin for at least 13 years, according to a bombshell new report.Michael Jackson

According to biographer Stacy Brown, the Thriller singer shot the deadly drug into his fingertips, chest and even toenails in a desperate bid to beat depression.

“It was regularly discussed by those around him, he could die at any time,” Stacy told British tabloid The People. “He was shooting heroin into his fingertips, toenails and chest.

“He was taking painkillers too but I don’t think he knew just how dangerous it was.”

The singer got hooked on heroin in 1992 and used it until at least 2005, when he faced trial on child-sex charges.

“There was nothing anyone could do – they felt it was like talking to a brick wall,” added Stacy, who wrote Jacko’s lifestory The Man Behind The Mask.

“They cared so deeply about him and feared he was destroying his life. Michael was deeply upset during the years of the child molestation allegations and took heroin.

“He couldn’t understand why he had been targeted. But it was no secret he was off the rails back then.”

Jacko had discovered prescription drugs in 1984 after a firework set his hair ablaze while filming an advert for Pepsi.

“Initially it was to cure the pain he was in but he got hooked,” Stacy said, adding that Jacko only wanted “clean” heroin and relied on aides to get it.

“There were plenty of people who wanted to please him so they did the running,” the biographer said.

“Michael would never have risked going out and picking up the drugs himself.

“When he went on tour he’d take boxfuls of drugs with him — he couldn’t do without it.”

Death — 1958 – 2009

Jackson, 50, died Thursday (June 25) after suffering an apparent cardiac arrest at his home in Los Angeles. He was said to have consumed “mountains of medication” as he battled numerous disorders in the year leading up to his tragic demise.

It has been widely reported that an overdose of prescription is to blame for the superstar’s unexpected death.

Jacko was due to begin a series of comeback concerts with an appearance at London’s O2 arena on July 13.

Jackson’s memorial will take place on Tuesday, July 7 at 10 a.m. at the Staples Center. The program will be simulcast at Los Angeles’ nearby Nokia Theatre.

    i’m not sure we can call a documented court case ‘rumors’. and while he was acquitted, “where there’s smoke, there’s fire” has to apply to the multiple charges he faced.

    i’ve been torn in my sympathies lately, because if he did buy his way out of trouble – that type of crime is the worst act that one human can commit against another. no person – regardless of their ‘legend’ is excusable from this.

    Michael will live in many hearts for the rest of our lives. I lived his era, I lived his music. He was not always on the up and up but I do not believe he molested children. He loved children. He loved people. We are the World, We are the People! I will remember him always for the song Black or White. My son is 11 years old and he said Mama, I will always remember him. He was an Icon. He is the King of Pop! We have cancelled appts on Tuesday to watch his memorial on television. I feel he was killed not by his own doing. He had 50 concerts coming up and he was looking forward to it. This is It! It is sad that June 25th, brought it down to This is It a bit too soon. Michael, you are loved and may you rest in peace.     What I can’t understand why was he considered to be the better “parent” when he was a drug abuser.

    I wouldn’t be surprised that he did these things to children at all but all of this stems back when his father abused him from the age of five (5) years old and father told him he wasn’t allowed to call him dad. I know that this doesn’t excuse what he did or didn’t do to these chidren but I also blame the parents of these children allowing them to be alone with Michael but they could see he was the golden calf.
    It is really a sad story all the way around and that is a fact.
    What really worries me is that father of his what else did she do to the other brothers and sisters that they are not speaking about you can see just by looking at them they are afraid of him still.
    He is finally at rest in a place where there will be no pain and if he did these things to the children he will pay because God will not welcome him with open arms. But that is between God and himself.

    Are all of you that still say Michael was a child molester, the same people that strongly support our great American justice system(when it is convenient for you) You say Michael was guilty, because that is what you want to believe…The charges of child molestation were brought up by our justice system…The second part of the system says, there must be a trial (innocent until PROVEN guilty) He was NOT found guilty. Why do you want to believe the system regarding the charges that were filed against Michael..but ignore the final decision, when the system doesn’t rule in your favor?

    I believed MJ was a child molester for a long time and let that affect the music for me. Now in death, my heart has changed especially after hearing so many people close to him explain why he was the way he was. He is a tragic figure. He was one of the best there ever was. Some would argue THE BEST. I can’t go that far. Elvis to me still is the tops but he was very close. Theya re two entirely different artists and really can’t be compared except in the effect they had on the generation that first heard their music.

    I hope they make Neverland a superior Graceland if that is possible. He will be much more famous in death than in life. God rest his soul and may Jehovah forgive him for switching religions there at the end. I hope Allah and Jehovah are one and the same.

Jackson was accused and indicted by a court for molestation of children he was not acquitted the parties settled out of court for Millions of dollars. The SECOND time he was taken to court for molestation and kidnapping; the kidnapping charges were dropped to a lower charge and he was found innocent of that charge; since the D.A.’s proof of molestation piggy backed the unlawful detention charge the molestation charges were dismissed because the D.A. needed more proof and relied on the kidnapping charges. Yes our court system at work. Michael played the system both times: paid people off and got acquitted of a lesser charge. Either way he did things to kids which anyone else would have been sent to jail for or would have been attacked on the street for.
