Beyonce Knowles to Remake Sister Act?

Beyonce Knowles is in talks to turn the Sister Act stage musical into a movie, according to reports.
The former Destiny’s Child star — who recently topped the American box office with her Fatal Attraction-style thriller Obsessed — was so impressed when she saw a performance of the hit theater show, which is based on the Whoopi Goldberg film of the same name, she’s asked to remake it as a movie.
“Beyonce has asked her representatives to persuade Disney to develop the show into a film vehicle for her,” a source told Britain’s Daily Mail newspaper.
“If this comes to pass, she would take on, in musical form, the part Whoopi Goldberg created in the 1992 Sister Act film, although the stage version moves the action from the West Coast to Philadelphia.”
